Mitchell is on the 6th grade traveling basketball/tournament team. They have played 3 Saturdays now. The first was in Alma, against Vestaburg, and they won. The second they were in a tournament at Fulton & took 2nd place in their bracket. This past weekend, they played in Vestaburg and took 1st place in the tournament. This was the first weekend they were able to wear their new uniforms. Which are very nice I might add!
Prior to this weekend, they have had to wear black shorts & the GIRL'S old 8th grade uniform tops! Mitchell is wearing Vanessa Ogle's old number. So, I feel it safe to say, Mitchell was very pleased to rid himself of the number 45 and his mother & sister cheering for him as Vanessa...who could resist?
As soon as I have pictures in the new uniforms, I will post. I did not take my camera Saturday, and so I asked a couple of other mothers if they could share pictures.
